Who we are

SnoozePay is a mobile application (Android) that charges a small fee each time you press the Snooze button on your alarm. The app is operated by Marcus Cadasse.

Data we collect

We collect only the data strictly necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — used to identify your account and send authentication codes (OTP).

• Payment information — your card details are processed and stored exclusively by Stripe. SnoozePay only stores a Stripe customer ID and payment method reference, never your full card number.

• Alarm and snooze data — alarm times and snooze events are stored locally on your device. Snooze events trigger a charge via our server but are not stored long-term.

• Usage analytics — anonymised events (app opened, alarm created, snooze pressed) are collected via PostHog (EU servers) to help us improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included.

How we use your data

• To authenticate you in the app via a one-time code sent to your email.

• To process snooze charges automatically via Stripe.

• To contact you regarding your account (support, billing issues).

• To improve the app through aggregated, anonymised analytics.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Third-party services

SnoozePay uses the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing. stripe.com/privacy

• Supabase — authentication and database. supabase.com/privacy

• PostHog (EU) — anonymised analytics. posthog.com/privacy

Data retention

Your account data (email, Stripe references) is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@snoozepay.app. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

Your rights

Under GDPR (if you are in the EU) and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.

• Request correction of inaccurate data.

• Request deletion of your data.

• Object to processing of your data.

Security

We use industry-standard security practices: HTTPS for all data in transit, authentication via one-time codes, and payment data handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant). Your full card details never pass through our servers.
